Your Competition Are Your Students
The word Ethnos from Old Greek literature means a multitude of individuals of the same nature or genus.
These groups of people could be lawyers, teachers, residents of Tokyo, retired firefighters, barbers et cetera.
That is the word Jesus used to describe nations in Matthew 28:19 when He said “Go ye therefore and teach all nations..”
In that simple sentence He defined the mindset that every entrepreneur should have.
You are not here to compete for resources or share some imaginary pie.
You are here to make students out of the people who call themselves your competition.
Your competitors should be quoting you. They should speak of your wisdom and be looking to copy at every turn.
This is important because it will save you from linear thinking and make you fly when others are walking.
This will remind you that you better understand your business better than anyone else. There is no wisdom without both knowledge and understanding. If you cannot understand your business better than anyone else then maybe you are not meant to be there.
Your disciples are waiting to be schooled. Go out there and be their teacher.
